Boomer won his first point the last weekend of Feb. 1992 and finished his American Kennel Club (AKC) championship in seven weeks by going Best of Breed at Birmingham Kennel Club, April 19th, owner-handled, with an entry of 90 Boxers including best in show specials.

The following weekend, he won his first Working Group One at 13 months. During his show career, Boomer won six all-breed Best In Shows (BIS), ten Specialty Best In Shows (BISS), 47 Working Group Ones, and over 150 Best of Breeds.

Boomer has sired 29 champion get.

In March 1998, Boomer won Best of Breed from the veteran dog class at the Dallas Boxer Club's Spring Specialty Show. In November 1998, Boomer won the veteran dog class at the American Boxer Club's Regional show in Arizona. You can see his winning picture on the Shows page.
